MORE ON THE UPGRADES THAT MAKES THIS M2 A REMARKABLE FIND:
NEXT GEN G3000 4.8.11 HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
Aircraft serial numbers 1048 and above came factory equipped with an upgraded avionics package providing 17 upgraded LRU’s, faster processors, enhanced screen resolution, and a platform for future upgrades. This pre 1048 aircraft was upgraded in 2024 by Textron to the latest hardware and followed by the 4.8.11 HW/SW upgrade in 2025.
GARMIN GWX 8000 “STORMOPTIX” RADAR SYSTEM
This plane has the hardware and software upgrades for Garmin’s most advanced radar system. The upgrade was installed in 2025. The GWX8000 “StormOptix” radar system provides ground clutter suppression, turbulence detection, predictive hail and lightning alerts, and automated volumetric scanning to show radar returns without the need to adjust gain and tilt settings.
TAWS “A” TERRAIN AWARENESS AND WARNING SYSTEM
Class A TAWS offers pilots an increased level of situational awareness by providing alerts such as excessive closure rate, large glide slope deviations, and the potential for terrain impact when the aircraft is not in landing configuration. The system also provides optional height above runway audible callouts on landing.
TRAFFIC COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM (TCAS II)
The Garmin GTS 8000 TCAS II system improves situational awareness by tracking transponder equipped aircraft in the vicinity. Traffic Alerts (TAs) and Resolution Advisories (RAs) are given aurally through the aircraft audio system and visually on the flight displays. When other TCAS II-equipped aircraft are encountered, complementary RA maneuvers are coordinated by each system. This system is compliant with Change 7.1 requirements.
SURFACE WATCH - GARMIN
Provides additional aural and visual annunciations for improved aircraft position awareness during taxi, takeoff , and landing operations. Includes the capability for the crew to turn off aural alerts, if desired.
CPDLC – CONTROLLER PILOT DATALINK
Equipped with an operational datalink communication system to provide automated ATC instructions without the need for certain voice communications. Frequency changes are automatically uploaded from ATC to the Garmin touch controls, and in in air reroutes are automatically uploaded by ATC to the standby flight plan, for immediate review and implementation by the flight crew.
GOGO L3 AVANCE WIRELESS INTERNET
Gogo Wi-Fi system is installed, providing integrated Wi-Fi capability for multiple portable and computer devices.
