Description

→ GARMIN GLASS. SENSIBLY REFINED. STC ENHANCED ←

Donny Gabriel of Mason Amelia proudly presents N7989P, a '62 Comanche 250 with plenty to talk about. It may very well be one of the most extensively modified and sensibly refined Comanches on the market today. Clean, capable, and remarkably efficient, its highlights include no tail horn AD, 90-gallon extended-range tanks, a one-piece windshield, dual exhaust, Garmin avionics, Millennium cylinders, JAS wingtips, beautifully updated cosmetics, a hefty 1200 lb useful load, and much more.

The newly appointed Garmin panel takes center stage, perfectly bridging two eras. It provides all the capability expected from a modern IFR platform without sacrificing the unmistakable character of a classic Comanche. The result is a cockpit that feels current, intuitive, and refreshingly uncluttered.

Mechanically, N7989P is tight and dialed in. Practical upgrades continue throughout the airframe with an Aussie tail horn, balanced rudder and stabilator counterweights, LED lighting, and the Cherokee upper door latch conversion. Under the cowl, Millennium cylinders, dual exhaust, a K&N air filter, vernier engine controls, and a Hartzell three-blade scimitar propeller complete a powerplant that's equally well sorted.

Plenty of shine outside. Plenty of comfort inside. Finished in Matterhorn White and Cobalt Blue, accented by a modern silver stripe, the paint retains excellent depth, gloss, and luster. Inside, new Airtex carpeting, grey leather seating, and a new headliner complete a cabin that shows every bit as well as the exterior.

2026 annual inspection due now; there's no better time for a prebuy. Call or text Donny Gabriel today to learn more about N7989P today!
