The Pratt & Whitney PT6E-66XT engine, has an increased thermodynamic rating, delivering even more power and paired with the Hartzell Raptor five blade composite prop, they are controlled by the dual-channel digital Engine and Propeller Electronic Controls System (EPECS). This allows you to leap off the runway around 2,000 feet, cruise at speeds approaching 330 KTAS, and cruise in excess of 1,500 NM. Turbine engine management -used to be- the biggest challenge for transitioning pilots… those days are over.
